GoPro LIT HERO

Just like the original HERO camera, LIT HERO is tough, tiny and waterproof, but is packed with even more amazing features. It bumps its 4K video up to 60 frames per second for smoother motion and the ability to play back footage in 2x slow motion.

A new built-in light helps capture shots when there’s little to no light, while Magnetic Latch compatibility lets you switch between mounting setups in seconds. After recording, the GoPro Quik app can stabilise your footage and automatically turn it into highlight videos that are ready to post and share.

With less volume and mass than our flagship HERO cameras, LIT HERO is small and light enough to follow you on any adventure. Carry it in your pocket or in your pack, or capture body- and gearmounted shots or handheld footage on the go.

Rugged + Waterproof to 5 m
Completely waterproof and built with legendary GoPro durability, LIT HERO is ready to capture the fun whether you’re ripping through mud, snow or water (down to 5 m) or just exploring nature or a new city.

Built-in Light
LIT HERO’s built-in light can help you illuminate scenes that need a little more light or capture shots in total darkness. It features 3 brightness settings and even works when your camera is off or when it’s plugged in and charging.

More Than an Action Cam
LIT HERO can drop in on a drainpipe just as easily as it can drop in on a half pipe. Its compact, ultra-durable waterproof design and built-in light makes it great for squeezing into dark, tight spaces. Mount it on an extension pole and put it to work. You can see things in real time on your phone using the GoPro Quik app and record with better image quality than most inspection cameras. It's perfect for plumbing and automotive work, DIY projects and more.

Stunning Image Quality
LIT HERO captures the action in ultra HD 4K video while bumping the frame rate up to 60 frames per second for more fluid motion and the ability to play back video in 2x slow motion. You can also take 12MP photos and grab photos up to 11MP from your videos using the GoPro Quik app.

16:9 Widescreen + 4:3 Immersive Capture
LIT HERO can shoot 16:9 aspect ratio footage for full-screen playback on your phone and TV, or 4:3 aspect ratio that delivers a 25% taller field of view for more immersive shots. You can also use the GoPro Quik app to crop your footage into any shot you need, including vertically for TikTok and other social media platforms.

Slo-Mo Playback
Everything is more awesome in slo-mo. LIT HERO can capture 4K60 video that lets you play back the action at regular speed in 2x slow motion to catch details that can’t be seen with the naked eye.

More Mounting Flexibility
LIT HERO features 3 mounting options that make it more versatile than ever. Magnetic Latch1 compatibility makes it easier to swap your camera between mounts. Built-in mounting fingers securely attach your camera to GoPro mounts when you need durable mounting in rough conditions. The 1/4-20 mounting threads can be used with tripods and other standard camera accessories.

Intuitive Touch Screen
LIT HERO’s LCD screen lets you frame your shots perfectly while touch controls let you simply swipe to swap capture modes and tap to adjust cameras preferences.

Super Simple Controls
LIT HERO makes capturing breathtaking GoPro footage incredibly easy—just frame your shot and hit the shutter button for amazing results.

HyperSmooth Video Stabilization With the Quik App
Eliminate any bumps and shakes in your video simply by playing it back on the GoPro Quik app. It automatically uses HyperSmooth video stabilization to give you silky-smooth footage, whether you were biking, skating, skiing or chasing your kids through the park.

Easy Hands-Free Capture
LIT HERO can be worn comfortably with GoPro body mounts to get incredible footage when your hands are busy with handlebars, ski poles, tow ropes and more. After mounting, use voice commands for the ultimate in hands-free control.

Long-Lasting Battery
Stay out on the trail or water even longer without missing a shot. LIT HERO can record continuously for over 100 minutes at its highest video setting on a single charge.

Highlight Videos Automatically Sent to Your Phone
Simply plug in your GoPro when connected to your home Wi-Fi. While it’s charging, your footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud and used to make a highlight video complete with beat-synced music and effects. Videos are automatically sent to your phone and ready to share.

Edit Your Shots With the GoPro Quik App
The GoPro Quik app features an array of easy-to-use tools that let you edit your footage like a pro. You can tweak the highlight videos created by the app or make your own videos from scratch. You can also zoom in, crop, add filters and more with your footage.

Easy Transferring + Unlimited Cloud Backup
Transferring photos and videos to your phone is a snap. Choose wireless upload via the Quik app. There’s also unlimited cloud storage with hassle-free auto-upload. Just plug in your camera when connected to your home Wi-Fi and your GoPro does the rest.
