The portable charger is ideal for longer holiday trips, for example. Thanks to its compact design, it takes up little space and can be easily transported directly in the boot or in the bag included in the set. The charger can be connected anywhere with access to a grounded 230V electrical outlet, allowing you to enjoy independence as you travel.

European standard type 2 connector

The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is currently the official European Union standard and charges electric cars equipped with the appropriate charging socket. The Type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are for charging and 2 are for communication between the station and the car.

Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe

The Qoltec charger supports four current modes: 8A, 10A, 13A and 16A. It is worth noting that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power greater than 3kW. 

Multifunctional LCD display

The product is equipped with a multifunctional 2.4" LCD display and LEDs indicating the charging status. The display allows you to:
- set the current intensity using button A: 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A;
- check the exact charging time,
- set the charging delay using the button with the clock icon,
- monitor the operating temperature of the charger in real time thanks to the built-in temperature sensor in the plug, the charger will immediately stop working if the safe value is exceeded and automatically resume operation when the temperature returns to normal,
- monitor the progress of the charging process.

Automatic error repair

In addition, the charger has a smart chip that automatically corrects errors during charging, responding appropriately if any of the parameters exceed the norm, ensuring stable operation of the charger.

Full control over the charging process of your electric vehicle

Thanks to the ability to pair your phone with the charger via WiFi, you can monitor and manage the charging status using your smartphone. The mobile app allows you to adjust many charging parameters, such as charging current and charging time, as well as schedule charging sessions according to your needs. You have full control over the charging process of your electric vehicle. 

Delayed charging function

You can set a delayed charging start time of 2, 4, 6 or even 8 hours and save on energy costs, e.g. by using a night-time tariff, which is a more economical solution as it does not overload the system. Simply connect the charger to the power supply and then press the delay button a specified number of times before connecting the car. Pressing the button with the clock icon delays charging by 1 hour with each click.  

Charge at home or on the go

If you want to mount an EV charger on the wall, choose a suitable location, preferably close to your car and a power source. You will also need to install a residual current device (RCD) the best choice is a type B RCD as a means of full supplementary protection. Ensure that the location is protected from moisture, free from mechanical damage and not exposed to direct sunlight. Be sure to check that this is the case. A 5-metre charging cable with an ergonomic plug will ensure a high level of convenience.

Waterproof polycarbonate casing

Our chargers are constructed from durable, UV-resistant, non-flammable polycarbonate. In addition, the charger is highly water-resistant and dustproof. The casing has special openings designed for external mounting.

You can recharge your car at any time and even several times faster. The number of panels needed to charge your car will depend on the battery parameters, vehicle model and distances travelled. when the photovoltaic panels are producing energy - this is the most cost-effective solution
using surplus energy produced by photovoltaic panels, which has been transferred to an energy storage facility or the grid and can be used at a later time.
